Iltalian teams rule in the Bacoli 2010 Powerpole
In Supersport Big Sergio (I) set the fastest time over the course with 3 min. 26 sec and 87/100 in their outerlimits powerboat. Just less than 2 seconds later Baia Attolini (I) took second place followed by Seagull Chaudron (UA) and Jolly Drive (I). Enthousiastic Karelpiu (I) did not finish due to a technical malfunction. Bacoli is preparing for the powerpole
Under a grey sky crews uncover the powerboats, repair, fine-tune some parts in order to get ready for the powerpole race at 17:00 hours today (Friday 03/09/2010). The first boats are going into the water for the free training session at 10:30 hours. Later today at 14:30 hours the training is obligatory for all classes. (more…)
Bacoli 2010 Official Entry List

Rounds 7 and 8 of the UIM 2010 World Championship Grand Prix of the sea are just a week away. They will be held in Bacoli. 2. Furnibo 2B1 Racing Team who won the powerpole on Friday took the lead from the beginning in the Endurance Race on Sunday in the Evolution Class with the diesel powered Metamarine Foresti & Suardi chasing them closely. Italian Sprint victory in Poltu Quatu 2010 GPS World Championship
Team Metamarine Corse and team Al & Al win in their class the Sprint Race. In Poltu Quatu, Sardinia, in Evolution Class Metamarine Foresti Suardi with Pennesi-Montavoci wins, while the Italian team AL & AL with Nuzzo-Amato triumphs in Supersport. While the Evolution Class sees no changes, Supersport does. Martin Lai returns in his SuperSport powerboat now called Asia 2011-15. His team is composed of driver Jo Nunez (USA), navigator Chun Kit Siu (CHN) and with Martin Lai (CHN) himself on the throttles. The missing team of the moment is team 26 (GB). (more…)
