The clock is ticking away and the 3rd and 4th round of the UIM World Championship in pictoresque Malta is getting closer. Time to give you information on the races. This info is just a handfull while the teams receive much more details and must know the rule book. Here we go. <\/p>\n
As you probably already know there is a Powerpole on Friday which determines the starting positions for the rounds 3 and 4. On Saturday there is a Sprint race (round 3) and on Sunday the Endurance race is on (round 4). There are two classes: Supersport and Evolution. Although they may race together competition remains within the classes. Below you’ll find the exact race courses and pits location but first we give you the time schedule.<\/p>\n

\nThis course will be run in counterclockwise direction. Distance is\u00a02.53 Nm (4.685 km). It runs in a very special location giving spectators a front row view.<\/p>\n![\"UIM](\"http:\/\/powerboating.be\/2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/powerpole.jpg\")

\n<\/strong>SuperSport: start lap + 9 laps giving a total race length of 43.00 Nm (79.636 km)
\nEvolution: start lap + 10 laps giving a total race length of 47.42 Nm (87.821 km). Each lap is 4.42 Nm (8.185 km). The race will be run in a clockwise direction ans is the same as the Endurance course.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>SuperSport: start lap + 15 laps giving a total race length of 69.52 Nm (128.751 km).
