While everything seemed fine in the beginning, it looked like he suffored minor injuries forcing him to stay at land today so that he cannot race. There seemed no other choice than to withdraw. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>But the solution was closer at hand than expected. Furnibo reserve pilot Benjamin Van Riet (B) was asked to drive the Supersport Class powerboat Big Sergio alongside throtlleman Alfredo Nuzzo. Both teams agreed on it so that the Italian team will be able to participate after all in the Endurance Race and take points.
