Een uitgelezen kans om de krachten te meten in het Class 3B European Championship. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Deze uitnodiging kon ik moeilijk laten voorbijgaan. Arendal is een prachtige lokatie en dit weekend (17 tot 19 juli 2009) worden we dan nog eens beloond met de Class1 die er eveneens zijn 2de Grand-Prix zal houden&#8221; laat Gino ons weten. Er wordt geracet tijdens\u00a0twee dagen. Vrijdag is de afstand 35,50 nautische mijlen en wordt er tegen de klokwijzerzin gevaren. Zondag is de tweede manche in klokwijzerzin en is het parcours hetzelfde met deze nuance: 1 startronde van 5,49 nautische mijlen,\u00a07\u00a0gewone rondes van 5,62 nm en\u00a0dDaarna een lange\u00a0vrij te kiezen ronde van\u00a06,12 nm.\u00a0De totale afstand op zondag is 50,95 nm. VinesBMW won de eerste Grand Prix en leidt momenteel het Europees klassement. Uiteraard zal de B3 hull verfraaid worden met Cranefields Wine logo&#8217;s. Tussen twee Powerboat P1-weekends in is dit\u00a0een boeiend tussendoortje.
