Rumor had it that a new Belgian powerboat team was in the make and had big plans. Today, it is no longer a rumor but a fact! Indeed, I received the official news that this new powerboat team consist of Francis Ciccio Notschaele and Benjamin Van Riet. Both are wel known in the Belgian powerboating scene and true speed addicts hence their interest in fast cars as well. The famous Maltese based shipyard Chaudron will build the powerboats. Chaudron is well known for its slick, sexy and damn fast powerboats from 22 to 45 ft. And there’s more.
Aaron Ciantar who leads the shipyard has racing blood in his veins and has an impressive palmares. His sister Audrien teamed up successfully with Shelley Jory-Leigh in the P1 class. Speaking of girl power.
2018 will be a great year for powerboat racing in Europe. More news is to come so stay tuned. Meanwhile, enjoy these spy pics.

What size is the hull and what power will be used?
Thank you for your interest. De hull is 27 ft and the engine will probably be a Mercury 300 XS.
