The Belgian Championship Offshore started many years ago, organized by a.o. Jean-Marie Van Lancker and Kris Deraedt. It was an instant success and it put Belgium on the powerboat racing map again. Then there was the financial crisis and times got tough. Since 2016 the BC Offshore is back. Starting slowly. Enough for powerboating.be to put this on the radar.
