Finally after a long periode of hastles, the Fountain #33 Furnibo from 2B1 Racing Team has been released by the customs at Zeebrugge (B). As fans and spectators we don’t realize what it takes to get the boat on the water and in the race.
A lot of paperwork and other formalities need to be taken care off. But all problems are left behind when we see a new powerboat on top of a red trailer passing by. It’s nearly ‘poetry in motion’ as the English would describe it. The white hull will soon be covered with graphics and sponsors. Preps for Turkey can continue as the team will not join the P1 fleet in Malta due to this and other delays. Previously Pierre Colpin stated that the team will compete once their powerboat is ‘state of the art’.
