As we speak, the Fountain Powerboat is getting a new hadge due to the fact that they will not use Ilmor engines but Mercury’s. They are somewhat bigger (due to the supercharger).
The team Colpin-Hemelaer want their powerboat to be state of the art. No surprises wanted on the starting line in the races. This means that when the boat arrives in Belgium, tests need to be carried out. “We want to be sure that we run a perfect machine here”, Colpin states.
