Programma Belgian Offshore Challenge 2009

We ontvingen het voorlopige progamma voor de Belgian Offshore Challenge 2009 van Thomas Vandamme. Deze BOC wordt gehouden onder de UIM-vlag en er wordt gestreden om het Belgisch Kampioenschap Jetscooter op zee en om het Belgisch Kampioenschap Powerboat op zee.  Plaats van het gebeuren is de haven van Zeebrugge (pits) en tussen de pieren van Blankenberge. Wat staat er op het programma.

– 17.20 return pits, closing and break up of circuit
– 19.00 presentation with drink and snack

Safety

Two organisations will join efforts to provide safety on the highest level:
VBZR-Vrijwillige Blankenbergse Zeereddingsdienst who dispose of two ribs, a Delta and an Ocean Dynamics with all the necessary equipment on board.
The SEA EAGLES, a team of 1 Doctor specialised in emergency-medicine and critical care, Two paramedics specialised in emergencies and 2 divers. They will dispose of one large ribs and one back-up rib for evacuations of casualties.

The hospitals in the neighbourhood will be standby, as their MUGS (Medical intervention teams).
The local firebrigades will be notified of the happening.

Communication

A VHF Channel will be reserved by Captain Loncke for the race communications. The pilots will be informed about the VHF Channel 71 for Port Control within the Zeebrugge Harbour and CH 69 of Traffic Control outside the Zeebrugge Harbour. During the race Channel 72 will be used.
