A successful Endurance Racing, Evolution and Supersport Classes, World, European and Italian Championship, event was held in Costa Smeralda, an historical and glamour arena for powerboating fans, during the week end of 10-11 July 2010.
The presence of teams from all over the world gave the UIM President Raffaele Chiulli the opportunity to meet with all of them participating at the 2010 Endurance Racing World Championship and give them an update on the actual situation and possible future evolution of this important discipline. Raffaele Chiulli said: “We are in a transitional phase and we together are working for a sustainable future for this discipline.” Then he added: “We as UIM are strengthening the cooperation between competitive powerboating, the boatyard industry and the research centers by capitalizing on the shared knowledge of all parties.”
