The battle for pole looms large!
Valletta, Malta, Friday 10th June 2011: For Sigi Greve, owner and throttleman of Searex, the German offshore powerboat racing team, today’s battle for Pole Position in Valletta harbour can’t come soon enough. Alongside co-pilot Douglas Verbanck (see picture), Greve will take on all-comers in pursuit of a win in the Malta Ocean Grand Prix, the inaugural event of the OGP Powerboat World Championship. His boat, Hercules Sägemann, has been out of the water for seven months and now Greve is raring to go and optimistic that the team are ready to take an historic victory. (more…)

Searex is set on the next powerboat P1 season with its new Falcon 43. Fellow countryman Gino Passchier races in the Powerboat P1 Evolution class for the German Searex team. During the boat show in Hamburg 2009, the team presented the new Falcon 43 of which you’ll find the specs above. This means that they officially engage in the 2010 P1 season. (more…)
