Grand Prix of the Sea 2010 Yalta results online
What a great 2010 Grand Prix of the Sea it was in Yalta (Ukraine). Lots of cheering enthousiasts, great races, a fantastic stage with nice entertainement and much more. The organizers had spared no effort to bring a near perfect event. The powerboat teams had their problems which is logical in such a high demanding sport. But in all that stress and nail biting timing issues they enjoyed the racing with their known passion. (more…)

Boats in the pits
Tuesday 4 May 2010 all boats were in the dry pits waiting to race this weekend. It’s a great sight to see the cranes and the powerboats aligned. Wim Capiau vervoegt 2B1 Racing Team
Wim Capiau is de de nieuwe reservepiloot voor het 2B1 Racing team dat in 2010 wil aantreden in de evolution klasse van de Grand Prix of the Sea. In zijn vrije tijd knalt Wim het liefst in zijn Chaudron 33 aangedreven door 2 Mercury’s 600 SCI. Hij is hiermee echter niet aan zijn proefstuk toe want hij heeft jaren gevaren in snelle boten en op waterski’s gestaan. (more…)
Spirit of Belgium teamt met Shelley Jory-Leigh
As well as a new sponsor Shelley has also formed a new team and she takes the driving seat in the Supersport team “Spirit of Belgium” beside throttleman Patrick Huybreghts. Patrick who holds a Guinness World Record for the fastest crossing of The English Channel in 2007, finished his inaugural championship in 2009 in 4th position overall and is hungry for more success in his second Powerboat P1 season.
