Although the race in Sicily didn’t become the spectacular third finish finale our rookie team had hoped for, a look back at our season enlightened the great experiences we have enjoyed in 2009. (more…)

Belgians boosten het P1 Powerboat 2009 season
De laatste rondes van het 2009 P1 Powerboat seizoen hadden plaats in Siracusa (Sicilië, Italië). Je kon de race meevolgen via mijn blog ‘powerboating on the road’. Spirit of Belgium met Huybreghts, Robijn en Sluszny stonden aan de vooravond van deze rondes op een welverdiende derde plaats in het supersport klassement. (more…)
Spirit of Belgium Powerboat team pakt zilver en brons tijdens Göteborg 2009
Marc Sluszny, Micha Robijn en Patrick Huybreghts hebben opnieuw een uitstekend resultaat neergezet in het Zweedse Göteborg, waar de voorlaatste manches werden afgewerkt in het wereldkampioenschap. De Antwerpenaren zorgden voor de meest spectaculaire race van het seizoen door een bikkelhard duel aan te gaan met de Oekraïners en de Italianen om zo hun 3de plaats in de tussenstand veilig te stellen. P1 2009 tussenstand
Totnogtoe hebben 6 rondes gedurende 3 weekends plaatsgevonden: Malta, Turkije en Italië. Op powerboatp1.com staan er Zweden, nogmaals Italië en Bahrain op het programma. Op Zweden (rondes 7 en 8) zijn de andere nog niet zeker. Om de Grand Prix of the Sea geldig te laten zijn, moeten er 10 rondes gevaren worden. (more…)
2009 P1 kan voor Masforce al niet meer stuk
Na 6 manches in de P1 Powerboat Grand Prix of the Sea kan er nog wat gebeuren maar voor het Belgische Supersport team Masforce Pegase is het totnogtoe een echt succes geweest. Zij stonden als nieuwkomers elk P1 weekend op het podium en bekleden bovendien de derde plaats in het algemeen klassement . (more…)

The endurance race promised to be very exciting and so it was. Furnibo 2B1 got their Fountain powerboat ready on time. Team Masforce Pegase prayed to the gods for rough seas but the gods misunderstood the good intentions as heavy rains and thunderstorms struck San Benedetto del Tronto. (more…)

Yesterday July 3rd 2009 the powerpole was decided in a humid atmosphere at 28 degrees Celsius and a flat sea. The team that sets the best time gets to pick the starting place. During the P1 endurance race on Sundag (Istanbul 2009) teams Masforce and Al&Al were fighting for 4th place. Team Masforce Pegase (Marc Sluszny, Micha Robijn and Patrick Huybreghts) tried to shake loose team Al&Al. Belgian teams score in Istanbul P1 2009
As well in the supersport as in the evolution class Belgian teams took good places during the Turkisch Grand Prix of the Sea. Team Masforce Pegase (Marc Sluszny, Micha Robijn and Patrick Huybreghts) got third on Saturday’s sprint race after Seagull Chaudron got a one minute penalty. (more…)
